After a narrow victory over Pakistan, Rohit Sharma-led Indian team gears up for the Hong Kong challenge in the Asia Cup 2022 on Wednesday. A victory tonight will make the Men in Blue the second side in the tournament to qualify for the Super 4s.

Hong Kong took the long route to reach the Asia Cup group stage, emerging as the winner from the qualifying stage. While there’s no denying that the Indian team is the outright favourite in this contest, Hong Kong have every reason to dream.

Hong Kong did give India a tough fight when they last faced them in the 2018 edition of the Asia Cup. Hong Kong made 259 runs while chasing a total of 286. The fight they had put in earned them plenty of plaudits.

The Indian challenge will surely be a mountain to climb for Hong Kong but an upset can’t entirely be ruled out.
