One serving of celery juice can provide around a third of the nutritional needs that many require daily. Of the nutrients found in celery juice, vitamin K and potassium are the most highly valued. These two nutrients are often lacking in many women’s daily diets, but they help strengthen bone health (via Everyday Health).

Although previous claims stated that celery juice is a useful way to detoxify your body, help clear acne, and cure chronic illnesses, these statements aren’t true. Emma Rueth, M.S., R.D.N., L.D.N., reports that all of these claims are false as no study backs up these claims with strong evidence. However, Rueth adds that celery juice could help lower blood pressure and act as an anti-inflammatory (via Unity Point Health).

While celery juice may not be the cure for certain issues, celery does contain properties that could be beneficial when consumed daily. As with other vegetables, celery has specific vitamins and minerals that we need to have each day. As Well + Good reports, celery juice in combination with other lifestyle and self-care choices can have benefits that will get you closer to a healthier life.
